Caution:

• GPS Trackers. Some of our guests recently pointed out that their ATV had a GPS tracker. Even though there are off limit areas and restrictions sometimes unintentionally one might end up for example across Province lines which is easy to do, resulting in immense fines by certain ATV rental companies. Make sure to ask if you feel uneasy having a tracker attached to your ATV.

• Gas. Rentals require you to return the ATV with a full tank of gas. This can be difficult due to there being at this point no Gas Stations in Montezuma, Cabuya and Santa Teresa. Always check the gas levels at the location with the rental employee, especially if you are returning it with a full tank of gas.

• Inspect before. Rentals might lack, a rear view mirror, a horn or indicators and you might realize it too late. Always inspect your rental before you leave the grounds with it. 

• ATV accidents. Even tough there is not a reliable statistic in regards to how many accidents there are but accidents are common due to tourists underestimating the power of an ATV and these accidents in many cases do have a live long health impact on many.
